I have seen various creative "stop motion" type videos on YouTube and I really wanted to give it a try. Here is an attempt, and I have to give all photography credit to my amazing bf. He took each photo shot while I rearranged the props in each scene. I hope to make more of this style of footage sometime soon. The key is definitely patience! Enjoy!

Such a neat video! What a fun picnic.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! We had fun making this! :)
DeleteNot bad. Very cute dolls and setting. I love how the food came in to the picnic mat one by one. Just a thought perhaps when the food start coming in to the frame you can also move the dolls a little bit so they look like talking or interacting :).

Thanks! This is the first attempt at us making a "stop motion" type video, so it was very basic. Since there was only one doll featured in this video, we couldn't really make them "talk", but I will probably do a more action related one in my next attempt! ;)
DeleteVery cute!! I can't wait to see your videos as you work on this type more. I agree that a little movement of the dolls would be fun too... they don't even have to actually talk... just the implication XD
ReplyDeleteFun stuff though!
Thanks, Heather! :) I will definitely try to do a more "action" type one soon - maybe even this weekend! ;)
DeleteHello from Spain: CONGRATULATIONS on the video. It looks beautiful. The light is coming early spring. You have a lot. Keep in touch...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Marta! :)
DeleteCongrats on your first one. Loved the music and the stuffed animals were too cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vanessa! I felt that the music filled in perfectly in the background. The animal plushes are actually mini Build-A-Bear Happy Meal toys, LOL.
